MEGA SUPERBET DOČEKUJE KRKU, AVDALOVIĆ: “I EXPECT US TO SET THE PACE FROM THE START”
Mega Superbet basketball players will host Krka in the 7th round of the ABA League play-out phase. The game is scheduled for Monday, April 6, at 7:00 PM at Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall. Admission is free, and free tickets can be picked up at the hall’s box office from 6:00 PM until the start of the game.
Ahead of the match, Mega Superbet head coach Vule Avdalović shared his thoughts:
– We have a very important game ahead of us in the play-out phase. Krka is a team that plays very smart and disciplined basketball, especially in games like this where every win can significantly impact the standings. They have experienced players who know how to punish every mistake. We are focused and motivated to perform at a high level in front of our fans on both ends of the court. I expect us to set our rhythm from the start, to be aggressive on defense and to play unselfishly on offense. We respect Krka, but we are going for the win. I believe in the team and I think we are ready to give our best on the court,
said Avdalović.
Returning Mega Superbet player Nikola Đurišić emphasized the importance of the upcoming clash:
– A tough and important game awaits us. Krka is an experienced team that knows how to punish opponents’ mistakes. We need to stay focused and play at the highest possible level because in this phase every win matters,
Đurišić added.
Mega Superbet recently defeated Krka 82–78 away in the 4th round and currently leads the head-to-head record 13–8. In the standings, Mega has a 9–13 record after 22 games, one win behind Zadar and FMP in the race for the play-in, while Krka stands at 8–14.
