DEFEAT OF MEGA SUPERBET IN PERM ENDS THEIR PARTICIPATION IN THE WINLINE BASKET CUP
Mega Superbet’s basketball team has ended its participation in the Winline Basket Cup after losing to Parma in Perm 70–92 (24:25, 13:19, 11:21, 22:27) in the final game of the group stage. The team led by coach Vule Avdalović held their own against the hosts in the first quarter, but still found themselves trailing by halftime. After returning to the court, they were unable to recover, Parma extended the lead, and ultimately secured the win.
Mega Superbet finishes third in Group A with a 2–4 record, while Parma advances with a 4–2 record alongside CSKA Moscow (5–1). Lokomotiv Kuban ended below Mega with one win (1–5).
In the game in Perm, Savo Drezgić was the top scorer for Mega Superbet with 15 points, while Nikola Đurišić added 13.
For Parma, Brendan Adams and Viktor Sanders scored 17 points each, Terrell Carter added 16, and Evgeny Minchenko contributed 12 points.

The opening minutes saw a back-and-forth game, with both teams exchanging the lead. Mega briefly pulled ahead after a basket by Drezgić (20:17), but the hosts closed the first quarter stronger and went into the break with a narrow lead (25:24). Mega managed to tie the game midway through the second period (33:33), but failed to take the lead. Parma responded and regained control, going into halftime ahead 44:37.
The third quarter proved decisive. The hosts quickly built a double-digit lead in under two minutes. Mega later cut the deficit to 45:52, but Parma pulled away again late in the quarter and entered the final period with a 17-point advantage (65:48). Avdalović’s team showed some response early in the fourth quarter and reduced the deficit, but Parma reasserted control and built a comfortable lead, which they maintained until the end.

Mega Superbet now turns its focus to the ABA League. In the next round of the playout phase, they will host Krka. The game at Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall is scheduled for Monday, April 6, at 19:00.
