MEGA VISITS PARMA, AVDALOVIĆ: WE GO WITH MAXIMUM FOCUS AND ENERGY

Mega Superbet will face Parma in Perm in the 6th and final round of the Winline Basket Cup group stage, in a crucial game for qualification to the Final Four in Saint Petersburg. The game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 31 at 16:30 (Serbian time), with live coverage on Arena Sport Premium 3.

Mega Superbet head coach Vule Avdalović shared his expectations ahead of the game:

– We are expecting a very tough game against Parma on their home court. They have a very high-quality team, and we already had the chance to see their strength earlier this season. We will try to be solid and aggressive on defense and use that to create good positions in offense. My players are aware of the importance of this game. Even though we are a young team, I believe we have the quality and character to compete and perform at a high level. We go step by step, with maximum focus and energy – that is the only way we can aim for a positive result in Perm,

said Avdalović.

Mega Superbet player Abdramane Siby emphasized that a difficult game awaits him and his teammates:

– We already played against Parma in the first part of the group stage and we are aware of their quality. They are an experienced team, and we are certainly expecting a tough matchup. We need to give our maximum and keep our energy at a high level in order to achieve a positive result,

said Siby.

Ahead of the final game in the group, the standings are as follows: CSKA Moscow has already secured a place in the Final Four in Saint Petersburg with a 5–1 record. Parma is second with 3 wins and 2 losses. Mega Superbet stands at 2-3, while Lokomotiv is last with a 1-5 record. Avdalović’s team must defeat Parma by more than 15 points in order to secure qualification for the Final Four.
