DEFEAT OF BANJICA MEGA’S PIONEERS IN THE SEMIFINAL OF THE FINAL TOURNAMENT

Banjica Mega’s pioneers did not manage to reach the final of the Serbian Championship Final Eight tournament, as they were defeated in the semifinals by their peers from Crvena zvezda with a score of 76–84 (23:19, 24:26, 18:18, 11:21). After three fairly even quarters, the game was decided in the fourth. Coach Uroš Matić’s team held the lead midway through the final period, but then came a turnaround — the opponents pulled away and gained a double-digit advantage, which Banjica Mega’s pioneers were unable to overcome.
