SIMEUNOVIC: “VERY TOUGH GAME AGAINST PARTIZAN, WE HOPE FOR A BIG VICTORY”

Players of Mega Leks with the victory against Oostende confirmed that they raised form from the beginning of the season and on Saturday from 19:00 in the Hall “Aleksandar Nikolic” expect a difficult away match against Partizan NIS. Match of the 11th round of ABA league for players of Dejan Milojevic will be an opportunity that with the eventual victory to get closer for fight for placement in play-off. For this match, coach of Mega Lejs will not be able to count on Ognjen Carapic.

After 10 rounds in the ABA league Mega is currently in 7th place with 4 wins and 6 losses while Partizan is at the third place with 7 wins and 3 losses.

Coach of Mega Leks Dejan Milojevic emphasizes that Mega expect a tough game on Saturday:

– Partizan is a very good team made up of current and former NT players, good foreigners and talented young players. We can expect a very tough task on Saturday. We have to play very well in both directions to be able to hope for surprise and win that would meant a lot for our young team,

said Milojevic.

Mega Leks and Partizan have so far met 6 times in the ABA league with 2 wins for Mega and 4 wins for “black and white”. The last meeting in the regional competition was within Round 15 last season when Mega after major overhaul and minus 18 in the third quarter, celebrated in the Hall “Aleksandar Nikolic” from 78:85.

Forward of Mega Djordje Simeunovic said the team will try in a match against Partizan, to continue to raise form:

– On Saturday we expect a very tough game, probably the toughest home court in the ABA league. In previous matches, we have raised the game and form and we will try to continue this trend in the match against Partizan. With full concentration from the first minute and aggressive defensive play, I hope that we can come up with a big win that would additionally raise the self-confidence of our team before the matches that will follow,

said Simeunovic.

Match  Partizan NIS – Mega Leks is scheduled for November 26th from 19:00 in the Hall “Aleksandar Nikolic” in Belgrade, with a live broadcast on TV Arena Sport.
