MEGA SUPERBET CONTINUES TRADITION OF MATCHUPS WITH NCAA TEAMS IN PUERTO RICO

Mega Superbet basketball players have traveled to Puerto Rico, where they will play two exhibition games against the University of Indiana as part of the Indiana Summer Tour.

The first game is scheduled for the night between August 9 and 10 at 1:00 AM, while the second will take place on August 11 at 5:00 PM (Central European Time).

Vule Avdalović’s team will face Indiana at the iconic Roberto Clemente Coliseum in San Juan. The players making the trip are: Bogoljub Marković, Lazar Gačić, Aleksa Milenković, Marko Vukčević, Ognjen Nikolić, Abdramane Sibi, Savo Drezgić, Ognjen Srzentić, Vuk Radojičić, Andrej Mušicki, Asim Đulović, and Urban Kroflič.

– As has become tradition, it’s time for another exotic trip and a test against a quality opponent like the University of Indiana. This year, we’ll play the games earlier than usual. There wasn’t much time for preparation, so this will serve as a solid introduction to the preseason, after which we’ll continue with training and friendly matches before the season begins. As every year, this will be a valuable experience for our young players to go up against strong peers,

This will not be the first time Mega and Indiana have met during preseason. In the summer of 2021, the two teams also played a pair of exhibition games in the Bahamas.

Matchups with NCAA teams during the summer have become a tradition for Mega, as the club has previously faced college powerhouses such as Michigan, Virginia, and Kentucky. Last year, they played two games against a selection from the NBA G League in Santa Cruz.
