FIVE MEGA SUPERBET PLAYERS CONTINUING THEIR CAREERS IN THE NCAA
Five Mega Superbet players will continue their basketball careers in the United States, competing in NCAA college basketball next season.
Mihailo Petrović is set to join Illinois, Andrija Jelavić will suit up for Kentucky, Sergej Macura is heading to Ole Miss (Mississippi), Filip Jović will play for Auburn, and Timotej Malovec will join the University of Miami.
Mihailo Petrović is coming off a standout season, crowned with two MVP of the Week awards in the ABA League. He averaged 14 points and 7 rebounds, with his top performance coming against Cibona when he exploded for 28 points and 13 rebounds, one of his seven double-doubles on the season. At Illinois — still chasing their first-ever NCAA title after reaching the finals in 2005 — Petrović will bring skill and consistency to the Fighting Illini roster.
Andrija Jelavić, after two seasons with Mega, averaged 10 points and 7 rebounds this year. The Croatian forward had a season-high performance against Partizan, posting 23 points and 14 rebounds. He’ll be part of the storied Kentucky Wildcats program, one of the most decorated in NCAA history, with eight national titles, the most recent one in 2012.
Sergej Macura spent one season with Mega and had his best showing against Mornar, scoring 9 points. He’s moving on to Ole Miss (University of Mississippi), which hasn’t made a Final Four appearance since 1996, looking to help revitalize the program.
Filip Jović played two ABA League seasons for Mega, and this year averaged 12 points and 4 rebounds. His best outing came against Krka, where he delivered a 26-point, 11-rebound double-double. Jović will join Auburn, a team with two NCAA Final Four appearances in its history — in 2019 and again in 2025.
Timotej Malovec, a Slovakian prospect, also spent two seasons with Mega and averaged 6 points and 3 rebounds this year. His highlight game came during the playoffs against Budućnost, when he dropped 18 points. Next season, he’ll wear the jersey of the Miami Hurricanes, who made a Final Four run in 2023.
With this strong group heading to top-tier college programs, Mega Superbet continues its tradition of developing elite talent ready for the next level.
