BANJICA MEGA U15 TEAM REACHES SEMIFINALS WITH CONVINCING WIN
Banjica Mega’s U15 team secured a spot in the semifinals of the Serbian Championship Final Eight tournament with a dominant 99–78 win over Trijumf in the quarterfinals (21:18, 28:23, 26:18, 24:19). Coach Uroš Matić’s players gradually built their lead quarter by quarter, entering the final 10 minutes with a 16-point advantage, which they further extended in the fourth quarter to seal a well-deserved and commanding victory.
The top scorer for Banjica Mega was Filip Mrđen with 28 points, while Marko Avdalović posted a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds, with both players recording a performance index rating (PIR) of 28. They were followed by Aleksandar Savić, who scored 19 points and grabbed five rebounds (PIR 20), while Andrija Terzić also reached double digits with 11 points.
In the semifinals, Banjica Mega will face the winner of the matchup between Crvena Zvezda and Mladost. The semifinal game is scheduled for Saturday, May 3, at 17:30, also in the Čair Sports Center.
