MEGA MIS VISITS PARTIZAN AT THE START OF THE SUPERLEAGUE SEMIFINALS, BARAĆ: “A RIVAL WE KNOW WELL, WE’LL GIVE IT OUR ALL”

Mega MIS basketball players return to the court after concluding their battle in the ABA League, where they reached the semifinals. They are now facing the finals of the Serbian Superleague and another semifinal, this time against the team Partizan Mozzart Bet. The first match is scheduled for Friday, May 24, and the black-and-whites will host Marko Barać’s squad in the Belgrade Arena, with a live broadcast on TV Arena Sport.

Mega MIS coach Marko Barać shared his expectations ahead of the start of the semifinal series:

“The domestic league semifinals bring us a series against Partizan, a team we have played several times this season and know very well. After concluding our obligations in the ABA League, we tried to integrate a few new young players we are counting on seriously. We have an extremely tough task ahead on the away court, but we will do our best to show ourselves in a good light,” said Barać.

Mega MIS first team player, Ilija Miljašević, emphasized that the team is ready for a big challenge:

“After the tough ABA League semifinal against Crvena Zvezda, we now face the domestic championship semifinal against Partizan. We had plenty of time to train and prepare for the series ahead. Partizan is a very quality and experienced team, and it will be very difficult to play against them, but we are ready and highly motivated to play a quality game and seize every opportunity that comes our way,” added Milijašević.

The second match of the Serbian Superleague semifinals is scheduled for Monday, May 27, at 8:00 PM, and Mega MIS will host Partizan at the TC Dejan Milojević. Due to the hall’s limited capacity, tickets will not be on sale but will be distributed to club friends and sponsors.

As the series is played best-of-three, if a third game is necessary, Partizan will host the Mega MIS team on Thursday, May 30, at 6:00 PM in the Belgrade Arena.
