U15 BANJICA MEGA SECURED TRIUMPH WITH 66-POINT SURPLUS IN THE OPENING OF THE SEMIFINAL TOURNAMENT OF THE SERBIAN CHAMPIONSHIP

The Banjica Mega U15 team started the battle in the Semifinal Tournament of the Serbian Championship in a splendid manner, as they convincingly defeated their peers from Užice’s Sloboda in the TC Dejan Milojević with a score of 116:50 (31:17, 34:8, 29:15, 22:10). Dejan Pejić’s chosen ones increased their lead from quarter to quarter, particularly shining in the second quarter, which they won by a 26-point margin, so they reached halftime with a lead of 40 points. Everything was clear after 20 minutes, so the Banjica Mega players finished the job in the second half. Thus, they rose to the top position in the group thanks to an impressive triumph with a 66-point difference, ahead of Tamiš, which defeated Konstantin with a smaller point difference.

Lun Jarc led Pejić’s team to victory with 31 points, seven assists, and six rebounds for a PIR of 45. Vuk Stepanović followed him with 24 points and six assists for an index of 35, while David Iordanchescu counted up to 23 points (PIR 27). In addition to his 13 points, Uroš Dramićanin also recorded eight rebounds (PIR 20), while Marko Avdalović achieved a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.

In the second round of the Semifinal Tournament, the Banjica Mega juniors will face their counterparts from Tamiš (Saturday, 19:45), while in the third round, they will test their strength against Konstantin (Sunday, 14:15). All matches of Group A are played in the TC Dejan Milojević, and the two best-placed teams will advance to the next phase of the competition.
