Uroš Plavšić saved the best for last. The center and captain of Mega MIS left his mark on the final round of the regular season in the ABA League with a brilliant performance in Marko Barać’s team’s victory over Igokea away, thus being proclaimed as the Most Valuable Player of the 26th round of the regional competition.

Plavšić dominated under the hoops in Laktaši and finished the game with a double-double of 17 points and 16 rebounds, also contributing two assists and two blocks for a PIR of 36—the highest in the 26th round. Thus, he also earned MVP recognition, as he crowned his excellent performance with the triumph, marking the seventh consecutive win for the basketball players of Mega MIS.

The efficiency index of 36 was also the highest Plavšić recorded this season, thus exclamating the first phase of the competition in the best possible way and further improving the impression of an exceptional debut season in the ABA League. During this season, he has averaged 15.8 points and 7.8 rebounds, with an average efficiency index of 18.5.

This is the second time that Mega MIS’s center has been declared the player of the round. He previously received the title in the 21st round when he recorded an index of 35 in the triumph over Krka. Mega’s players have collectively received MVP awards six times this competitive year.
