OGNJEN SRZENTIĆ WITH THE SERBIAN JUNIOR NATIONAL TEAM AT THE “ALBERT SCHWEITZER” TOURNAMENT IN MANNHEIM

The Serbian junior national team has traveled to the prestigious “Albert Schweitzer” tournament, taking place in Mannheim from March 30th to April 6th, and a young basketball player from Mega MIS, Ognjen Srzentić, is part of the team.

Srzentić’s call-up to the national team is a reward for his excellent performances in Mega MIS’s junior and cadet teams this season, earning him a spot among the 12 players representing Serbia in Germany.

The talented basketball player from Mega MIS is among the most valuable players of the Roda Junior League of Serbia, averaging 16 points and 5.1 assists for a PIR of 20.5. He also ranks high on the list of best players in the Triglav Cadet League of Serbia, with averages of 18.7 points, five assists, and 4.6 rebounds for an average PIR of 27.7.

The Serbian national team roster for the tournament in Mannheim includes: Aleksandar Vojinović, Aleksa Vlajić, Stefan Plisnić, Ognjen Srzentić, Aleksa Stanojević, Andrej Kostić, Marko Tofoski, Andrija Đurić, Miloš Šojić, Aleksa Dimitrijević, Savo Drezgić, and Mitar Bošnjaković.

According to the competition schedule, Srzentić and his teammates will compete in Group B against Egypt, China, Italy, Greece, and the German U17 team, with their first match scheduled for Saturday, March 30th at 8:30 PM against Italy.
