JUNIOR MEGA MIS DEFEATS CRVENA ZVEZDA AND SECURES FIFTH PLACE IN THE JUNIOR EUROLEAGUE QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT

Junior Mega MIS team emerged victorious against the host team Crvena Zvezda at the Aleksandar Nikolić Hall, finishing in fifth place with a score of 88-78 (25:18, 18:18, 27:25, 18:19). Under the guidance of coach Dragoljub Avramović, Mega MIS took an early lead in the first quarter, maintaining control throughout the game. Despite Crvena Zvezda’s efforts to close the gap at times, Mega consistently fended off their advances, ultimately deserving the win.

Abdramane Siby dominated the paint, concluding the match with a double-double of 26 points and 12 rebounds, earning an impressive PIR of 42 as Mega’s most valuable player. Ognjen Nikolić also contributed a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds, achieving a PIR of 29. Other notable scorers included Luka Solomun with 16 points and Aleksandar Vojinović with 12 points.

Junior Mega MIS finished the tournament at Pionir with a 2-2 record, securing victories against Hapoel Tel Aviv and Crvena Zvezda, while experiencing defeats against Partizan and Barcelona, the finalists and top favorite of the qualifying ANGT tournament.
