JUNIORS OF MEGA MIS IMPRESSIVE AGAINST HAPOEL ON THE OPENING OF THE SECOND DAY OF THE JUNIOR EUROLEAGUE QUALIFICATION TOURNAMENT

After the defeat against Partizan in the premiere, the juniors of Mega MIS quickly returned to the winning track. In the second round of the group stage of the ANGT (Adidas Next Generation Tournament) junior EuroLeague qualification tournament, they convincingly defeated Hapoel from Tel Aviv with a score of 89:66 (24:8, 26:14, 25:21, 14:23). Under the guidance of coach Dragoljub Avramović, they demonstrated great desire from the start and quickly gained control of the game, building a substantial lead that continued to grow minute by minute. They secured a commanding lead of 35 points before the final 10 minutes, making the outcome clear in the Aleksandar Nikolić Hall. After two appearances, Mega MIS now has a record of 1-1, while the Israelis suffered their second defeat.

The most prolific scorer for the winning team was Aleksandar Vojinović with 22 points (PIR 23), closely followed by Luka Solomun with one point less (PIR 21). However, the most valuable player for Mega was Abdramane Siby with 18 points and eight rebounds, earning a PIR of 26. Ognjen Srzentić also had a notable performance with 12 points, five assists, and five rebounds (PIR 20).

Mega MIS still has a chance to qualify for the final, and in their last group stage match, they will face Barcelona later in the day at 7:00 PM.
