JUNIOR MEGA MIS PLAYER ABDRAMANE SIBY AT BASKETBALL WITHOUT BORDERS CAMP IN INDIANAPOLIS

Young basketball player Abdramane Siby from Mega MIS will participate in the three-day “Basketball without Borders” camp held from February 16 to 18 in Indianapolis. It is a significant recognition for the talented Mega player who has been shining in the junior team this season, confirmed by being the statistically most valuable player in the current Roda Junior League of Serbia.

Siby, in his 14 appearances this season, has averaged 16.5 points, 11.4 rebounds, and 4.4 blocks, with a PIR of 31.4 for Dragoljub Avramović’s team, leading the Junior League with a perfect record of 14-0.

Last season, he won the U19 ABA League and the national championship with Mega’s junior team, also participating in the final tournament of the Junior EuroLeague. Additionally, with the cadets, he became the Serbian champion.

As a reward for his outstanding performances, he will have the opportunity to meet and work with some of the most talented basketball players globally and learn from some of the most respected international coaches.

Basketball Without Borders emerged as a developmental program in collaboration between the NBA and FIBA, uniting young players to promote basketball and sports values. Established in 2001, the program has organized 72 camps in 48 cities across 33 countries. Over 4,300 young basketball players from 140 different countries have participated in the program so far. Last year, another young Mega MIS player, Bogoljub Marković, was part of the Basketball Without Borders camp in Salt Lake City.
