“MEGA FACTORY” ARENA RENAMED TO “DEJAN MILOJEVIĆ TRAINING CENTER”

Basketball club Mega MIS will forever cherish the memory of Dejan Milojević and all that he did for the club and Serbian basketball. Milojević unexpectedly passed away on January 17 at the age of 46 due to a heart attack, leaving the entire basketball world in shock and disbelief. For days, the basketball community bid farewell to this extraordinary coach and remarkable person through touching messages and gestures.

The club where Milojević began his coaching career and brought the first trophy in the Radivoj Korać Cup has decided to rename the “Mega Factory” arena in the Braće Jerković neighborhood to the “Dejan Milojević Training Center.”

On this occasion, Mega’s General Manager, Goran Ćakić, sent an official letter to the officials of the Basketball Federation of Serbia, regional and domestic leagues to update the information in the databases and all official documents related to the matches played in the mentioned arena.

The place where Milojević made an immeasurable contribution to the development of numerous top players and positioned Mega as a club outside the Americas with the most drafted players in the NBA will now symbolically carry his name, forever rescuing his image, work, and rich coaching legacy from oblivion.
