MEGA MIS JUNIORS DEFEAT PARTIZAN AND SECURE A SPOT IN THE U19 ABA LEAGUE FINAL TOURNAMENT

Mega MIS juniors played two matches in the U19 ABA League group stage at Zlatibor within 24 hours. After a convincing triumph over Cedevita Junior, they also defeated their counterparts from Partizan with a score of 69:92 (22:23, 11:25, 22:22, 14:22). This victory ensured their qualification for the final tournament where they will defend their title.

After a fairly evenly matched battle in the opening quarter, the team coached by Dragoljub Avramović stepped up in the second, building a significant lead by halftime. They maintained a 15-point advantage until the decisive 10 minutes, and it soon became clear that they would secure another win. With this victory, Mega MIS earned a place in yet another Final Four of the junior ABA League, a tournament they won for the fourth time last year.

This time, the top scorer was Bogoljub Marković with 20 points, also contributing seven rebounds for a PIR of 20. Equally valuable according to the index was Ognjen Srzentić with 14 points and six rebounds, with just one missed shot and one turnover.

Filip Jović scored 17 points and grabbed six rebounds, forcing seven fouls. Urban Kroflič recorded 14 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Asim Đulović also finished in double digits with 12 points and was close to a double-double with eight rebounds.

Mega MIS secured the first-place finish in the group with Cedevita Junior and Partizan, guaranteeing their spot in the final tournament. This also means they do not depend on the outcome of the third-round match between these two teams, as Mega MIS had already defeated them.
