U17 MEGA MIS OUTPERFORM SLOBODA IN UŽICE

In the second round of the Triglav Cadet League of Serbia, the Mega MIS cadets defeated Sloboda at the Veliki Park Sports Hall in Užice with a score of 79-90 (18:31, 22:11, 21:24, 18:24). Coach Petar Radonjić’s chosen ones had an excellent start to the match, but the host showed resilience after a weak first quarter, even turning the game around in the third. However, the Mega cadets reclaimed the lead and pulled away at the beginning of the decisive period, ultimately securing a well-deserved victory.

Ognjen Srzentić led the winning team with 27 points and an impressive 15 rebounds for a PIR of 24, while Vuk Danilović scored 25 points, along with six rebounds (PIR 22). Nikola Karalić also had an excellent performance with 14 points and eight drawn fouls for a PIR of 25, the highest on the Mega MIS team. They were supported by Petar Ostojić with six points and nine rebounds for a PIR of 18, as well as Pavle Bačko, who, in addition to his eight points, grabbed eight rebounds.

In the third round, the Mega MIS cadets will host their counterparts from Crvena Zvezda.
