ANDRIJA GRBOVIĆ TRANSFERS FROM MEGA MIS TO BUDUĆNOST

Young and promising power forward, Andrija Grbović (20), has made a move to join the Podgorica-based team, Budućnost VOLI, continuing his basketball career.

Grbović arrived at Mega MIS in the summer of 2021 after his stint with Ulm in Germany. He initially played for OKK Belgrade before joining Mega MIS for the Super League. He also showcased his skills by winning the U19 ABA League in 2022 with Mega MIS juniors, earning the title of MVP in the final tournament.

During the past season, Grbović made significant contributions to Mega MIS. His presence helped the team under the guidance of Marko Barać to reach the playoffs of the ABA League, as well as the finals of the Radivoj Korać Cup and the semifinals of the Serbian Super League. He maintained solid averages of six points and 3.4 rebounds in 28 appearances in the regional competition.

Grbović also gained international experience, representing Montenegro in the U20 European Championship in Podgorica, where he secured a bronze medal. Additionally, he made his debut for the senior national team during the qualifiers for the upcoming World Cup. Notably, he was included in the extended list for the tournament to be held in Japan, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
