MEGA MIS WELCOMES METALAC, BARAĆ: “WE NEED TO CONTROL THE REBOUNDS, PAY ATTENTION TO THE INSIDE GAME OF THE OPPONENT, AND ADAPT TO CHANGES IN THE DEFENSE”

The basketball players of Mega MIS ended the fight in the ABA League this season in the quarter-finals, and now they are turning to the Super League of Serbia. They skipped the first round due to the obligations of their opponents because Borac Mozzart played for survival in the regional competition. In the second, they defeated Vojvodina in Novi Sad 83:74, while in the third, they are hosting Metalac from Valjevo in Mega Factory hall. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 10, from 18:00, and the entrance to the hall will be free. The gates will open one hour before the start of the match.

Mega MIS coach Marko Barać points out that his players must play at a high level if they want to win another Super League match:

In the continuation of the Super League, we are playing against the Metalac team, which is having a very good season. We have to pay special attention to rebound control, the opponent’s inside game, and adaptation to changes in defense. We need to be at the highest level of energy and concentration to reach the desired result,

Barać said.

Young center Danko Branković welcomes the second meeting in Group B with great motivation:

After the ABA League, we turn to the Super League and enter every game with full focus. Against Metalac, we have to impose our rhythm with a lot of running if we want to win,

Brankovic added.

In the table of Group B, Vojvodina is still leading but is the only team with two matches played (1-1). Next is Mega with 1-0, while Metalac is winless (0-1), and Borac has yet to play the first match.
