MEGA MIS BEAT TEAM OVERTIME ON THE OPENING OF MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT “STEVAN JELOVAC”

Mega MIS defeated Team Overtime with 90:87 (24:26, 22:22, 26:22, 18:17)at the opening of the “Stevan Jelovac” Memorial Tournament in the Ranko Zeravica Sports Hall . In a very interesting and extremely even duel, Marko Barac’s team broke the resistance of their rivals in the middle of the decisive part. They gained a crucial six-point lead with four minutes to go, and then saved the advantage with a sacrifice game at both ends of the field and achieved victory.

An important role was played by the young Andrija Grbovic. He had an excellent sequence in the last minutes of the match. First, he played excellently in defense, and then with an effective dunk at the other end of the field, he repelled the onslaught of his rival and brought his team to the threshold of victory. Nikola Djurisic scored the point from the penalty line with two seconds left, as the opponent failed to win overtime with a long-range shot with the sound of the siren.
