Before the duel in Bar, Mega coach Vladimir Jovanovic pointed out that his team must try to stop Mornar’s attacking game with a concentrated and solid game:

– We are playing against a very high-quality opponent who, in addition to the ABA league, also participates in the Eurocup, in which he has notable results. For many years, led by coach Pavicevic, they have been playing very good basketball on two fronts. They have very good individuals and they don’t change many players during the season, keeping the backbone of the team. Mornar plays attacking basketball, everyone in the backcourt is oriented as attackers, shooters for three points. They play very widely with Lukovic, who is one of the main defensive players, with even better team defense than in previous seasons. I expect us to try to stop their attacking game with a concentrated and solid game, which is not easy at all, considering that they have at least three shooters for three points on the field at all times. We should not try to compete with them in that segment, but with a concentrated and focused game, primarily in defense, we should try to play with Mornar for 40 minutes on their field,

Mega and Mornar have met seven times so far in the ABA league with a score of 5-2 for Mega. After four rounds of the ABA league, Mega Soccerbet has a score of 3-1 while Mornar recorded two wins and one defeat with one match less. In the last official match between these two teams, which was played in the 11th round last season, Mornar celebrated with 85:68. In the last round, Mega lost at home to Crvena zvezda mts with 73:76, while Mornar’s last match in the ABA league against Borac was postponed.

Guard of Mega Soccerbet Malcolm Cazalon pointed out that the team must keep its energy at the highest level during all 40 minutes of the game against Mornar.
