On Sunday, October 11, at 7 pm, Mega Soccerbet will meet the Zadar  in the 2nd round of the ABA League, and the match will be played without spectators in the Hall of sport Ranko Zeravica due to the well-known situation after the Covid 19 pandemic. Coach Vladimir Jovanovic’s team opened the season in the regional competition with a convincing victory in Laktasi, and it is certain that they will want to be against Zadar in the same rhythm.

Before the duel against Zadar, Mega’s coach Vladimir Jovanovic pointed out that the energy of his players must be at the highest level:

– Zadar has entered this season seriously, which can be seen in the playing toster, but above all in the engagement of the selector of the Croatian national team. Given our youth, our energy must always be at the highest possible level. With a good and concentrated game all 40 minutes, I hope for a good game,

said coach of Mega.

Mega Soccebet and Zadar have met 14 times so far in the ABA league with a score of 8-6 for Mega. In the last match between these two teams, which was played in the 14th round last season, Zadar celebrated at home with 106:100. In the first round of this season, Mega celebrated in Laktasi against Igokea with 62:84, while Zadar was defeated at home by Mornar with 66:82.

Mega’s center Filip Petrusev confirmed with 17 points and 7 rebounds against Igokea that he is in great shape and before the game against Zadar, he stated that they must not underestimate the opposing team:

– We know that Zadar is an experienced team with good guards that we have to control, as well as their pick and roll game. We must not underestimate them, but focus on our game and with the right approach as in Laktasi, to go out on the field and show that we deserve to win,

said Petrusev.
