STEFAN MOMIROV IS NEW REINFORCEMENT OF MEGA

Mega has made the final step towards completing the team for the upcoming season, since the contract with the club was signed with Stefan Momirov (20), who has already joined Mega’s practices.

Momirov is the winner of the gold medal with U18 Serbia at European Championship in 2017, which he won together with the current players of Mega Filip Petrusev and Nikola Miskovic, while that generation was led from the bench by Vladimir Jovanovic.

After signing the contract with Mega, Stefan Momirov pointed out that he is sure that he will fit into the team very soon:

– I am very glad that I became a part of Mega. This is the right environment for the development of young players, everybody knows who came out of this system in previous years. I know a lot of teammates from before, and I also cooperated with coach Vladimir Jovanovic in the junior national team. I am sure that there is great chemistry in the team and that I will be able to fit in very quickly and that together we will all achieve the goals that have been set,

said Momirov.

Stefan Momirov was born on December 18, 1999. He is 198 centimeters tall and covers positions from 1 to 3. After he played for juniors of Crvena zvezda, he started his senior career in 2017 at FMP, after spend the 2017/18 season on loan in Vrsac. Last season, he averaged 2.9 points for FMP in 8.9 minutes.

He played for U18 and U20 national team of Serbia, and the biggest success was the gold with the juniors at the European Championship in 2017 in Slovakia, when he averaged 7.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists.
