STANIC: “AGAINST MORNAR WITH MAXIMUM FOCUS IN DEFENSE”

Mega will play in SC Topolica for the defense of the place at the top of the standings and continuation winning series in the ABA league.

The coach of Mega Bemax Dejan Milojevic, on Sunday’s match will not be able to count on injured Branislav Ratkovica while Milos Koprivica is doubtful. Milojevic said before the match with Mornar that the team wants to extend the winning streak:

– We play on Sunday in Bar against Mornar, which is a very high quality team that was raised form after a slightly weak start of the season. They are additionally reinforced and the matches with them are mostly very uncertain, especially in Bar. We have a great start to the season, but we do not want to stop but to extend the winning streak as far as possible. We will have a tough task against Mornar, but with aggressive defense and appropriate approach to the match from the first to the last minute, I believe that we can come to a new triumph,

Milojevic said.

After 4 rounds of the ABA league, Mega Bemax has all 4 wins while Mornar has score 2-2. Mega and Mornar have so far met 4 times in the ABA League with a 3-1 score for Mega. In the last meeting of the two teams played in the 14th round of the ABA League last season, Mornar celebrated in Bar with 87:83.

Mega Bemax Center Filip Stanic emphasized that the team needs to be the maximum combative and focused defense:

– Mornar is a very good team that plays well in front of their fans. They are high quality offensive team and have excellent shooters. We will have to be maximum combative and focused in defense from the start of the match. We expect a tough game, but we are going for a win against each team, and so it will be the same on Sunday in Bar. It is certain that the triumph would meant a lot to us, not only for the result, but also as evidence that we continue to grow as a team,
