MOKOKA: “OLIMPIJA IS A GOOD TEAM, BUT WE GO FOR THE WIN AT EVERY MATCH”

Mega Bemax players continue ABA league competition on Friday, when they will meet Petrol Olimpija in the 4th round of the competition in Sremska Mitrovica. Mega will in PSC Pinki Hall play for the 4th victory in the season and defense of the top of the table. The entrance to the match will be free.

Coach of Mega Bemax Dejan Milojevic on Friday’s game will not be able to count on injured Branislav Ratkovica. Milojevic said before the match with Olimpija that no relaxation should be allowed after three victories:

– On Friday, we welcome Olimpija, who is a quality opponent with a good combination of young and experienced players. After all, this is also shown by their results at the start of ABA where they won the Mornar and Zadar and in Belgrade played the game on one ball with Partizan. It is important for us to get into the match with the necessary energy and aggressive defense. It surely that previous three victories mean a lot for us, but every game starts from scratch and we should not allow any relaxation because the opponents will be able to punish it. I believe in my team and if we impose our rhythm in the match, we can reach the fourth win which would be a confirmation of the great start of the season for the Mega,

Milojevic said.

After 3 rounds of the ABA league, Mega Bemax have all 3 wins while Petrol Olimpija have a score of 2-1. Mega and Olimpija have so far met 10 times in the ABA league with a 6:4 score for Olimpija. In the last match of the two teams played in the 15th round of the ABA League last season, Mega celebrated in Ljubljana with 69:76.

Guard of Mega Bemax, Adam Mokoka, pointed out that the team wants to keep going in the right direction:

– We trained well and continue in that rhythm. We want to raise our limits and every game is a fight for itself. Olimpija is a very good team, but in every game we go for the victory. We started the season well, but we do not want to stop here but to continue in the right direction. I would like to invite all from Sremska Mitrovica to come to the match in a large number, as it was in the match against FMP, because such support means a lot to us and we will try to repay them on the field,

Mokoka said.

At this match will be continued with the Mega Experience project where the guests of the club are young and talented people of Sremska Mitrovica. In the halftime, short 3-to-3 games will be organized in which will play primary school pupils from the fifth to the eighth grade from elementary schools with the territory of Sremska Mitrovica and the winners at the end of the mini league expect numerous awards.

See you on Friday in Sremska Mitrovica!
