MILOJEVIC: “I BELIEVE THAT WE HAVE A STRENGTH FOR A GOOD MATCH AGAINST OLIMPIJA”

Players of Mega Leks on Sunday from 17:00 will continue competing in the ABA league with a game against Union Olimpija. Match in Ljubljana will be played within the 14th round of the regional competition. Mega will be weakened by the absence of two players. Kostja Mushidi is with the national team of Germany at the U18 European Championship while Marko Tejic remained in Belgrade because of arm injury.

Coach of Mega Leks Dejan Milojevic believes that the team with absences, still can get strenght to play a good match:

– We can expect a tough away game in Ljubljana, which is exacerbated by the absence of Mushiid who is with his national team at the U18 European Championship, as well as by the absence of Tejic that because of arm injuries will not travel to Slovenia. In addition to aggressive and smart defense from the start, we have to pay attention to the turnovers that we have too much, especially in the last match. Olimpija is a very good team that has made significant progress on the table. However, I believe that we can gather the strength to play a good match and with the victory to finish this series of away games,

said Milojevic.

Mega Leks and Partizan in the ABA league so far met seven times with the score 4:3 for Olimpija. The last meeting was played in the first round when Mega celebrated in Sremska Mitrovica with 86:85. After 13 rounds of ABA league Mega Leks has a score of 4-9 while Olimpija has one victory more.

– We can expect a tough match on Sunday with the quality of Olimpija. We need to get into the match maximally concentrated and with a lot of energy. Only in this way despite the absences that we have the team, we can surprise team Olimpija to win and improve the impression of the last few matches,

said Novak.

The match Union Olimpija – Mega Leks is scheduled for Sunday 18 December from 17 pm with a live broadcast on TV Arena Sport.
