– We’ve got a very tough opponent who is in good shape. They have Ante Zizica who is probably the best player in the ABA league at this point. In a series of defeats which we want to stop as soon as possible, we hope that this will be as early as Tuesday against Cibona,

said coach of Mega Leks.

In the break between periods, to the audience will be shots shirts of company Roda and three luckiest viewers who caught shirts in half will compete in shooting from the half court for a valuable prize – Plasma TV, a gift of company Roda.

Also, in this match Mega Leks will continue with project “Mega Experience” where guests of the club at the game will be young and talented children from Sremska Mitrovica.

Mega Leks and Cibona for the first time will meet in European competition and previously in the ABA league they played 6 times with the score 4-2 for Mega. The last meeting was in the 23rd round of the regional competition last season when Mega in Zagreb celebrated with 82:89. Both teams in the first round of the Basketball Champions League lost their matches, having Avelino celebrated in Sremska Mitrovica and Tenerife in Zagreb.

Basketball player Mega Leks Djordje Simeunovic urged the audience to support Mega in a very important match:

– After a series of defeats which we have experienced, we have to stand up and finally to win the match, primarily because of self-confidence. Triumph against Cibona would mean a lot to us and a lot further in Basketball Champions League. Cibona has an excellent team, two days ago, they convincingly beat Olimpija in Ljubljana, so we are expecting a tough game. I invite the audience in Sremska Mitrovica to support us in large numbers to help us to achieve an extremely important victory,

said Simeunovic.

Tickets are on sale at the cost of 300 dinars for stands in the period 8-22 hours and they can be purchased at the cafe Pinki within the hall.
