JARAMAZ:: “WE ARE READY FOR THE START OF THE SEASON”

Players of Mega Leks on Thursday from 21:00 are opening the season in the ABA league with a game against Union Olimpija in Hall PSC Pinki in Sremska Mitrovica. Mega will this season have a very young team with an average of 20.6 years, led by captain Rade Zagorac and where the oldest player will ber Radosav Spasojevic with 24 years.

Dejan Milojevic in this match can not count on the injured Stefan Glogovac and Ognjen Carapic who will definitely miss the first few rounds in the ABA league.

Coach of Mega Leks pointed out that Mega and Olimpija quite changed teams compared to last season:

“Both teams have changed a lot of players compared to last season as Olimpija changed also coach. However, Olimpija is a great name, have respectable team. They are good and experienced team and I hope that my team to play good and quality game and that we’ll get the victory”,

said Milojevic.

Mega Leks and Union Olimpija in the ABA league so far met six times with the score 4:2 for Olimpija. The last meeting was in the 24th round of the ABA league last season when Olimpija won in Sremska Mitrovica with 78:81.

One of the most experienced players in the team Ognjen Jaramaz said that Mega is ready for the start of the season:

“On Thursday we play the first game of the ABA league against Olimpija. Behind us are two months long preparation in which we played a lot of matches and I’m glad we have this period completed the victory over Lukoil. We are fully ready for the season, we meet it in a positive atmosphere”,
