MEGA LEKS IS GOING TO PANCEVO IN 4. ROUND OF SUPERLEAGUE

On Saturday 9th of May Mega Leks will continue competing in the Superleague with the game against Tamis in Pancevo.

Mega has had a very tough schedule at the beginning of the domestic competition with away games against Red Star and Partizan, while hosted Metalac but three losses are certainly cause for alarm for coach Dejan Milojevic. The first opportunity for a turning point in the game and results is the visit to Pancevo on Saturday, 19 pm. Coach of Mega Leks spoke of that:

“We had a bad start in Superleague. It’s true that we had a tough schedule at the start of league but defeat against Metalac at home court is a blunder that we need to correct in the coming matches”.

Tamis also began Superleague with three losses. They were closest to the victory against Vojvodina, when they missed triple for win.

Mega and Tamis last met in KLS in the 2012/13 season and then Mega took both wins. At home the result was 93:75 and in Pancevo Mega celebrated victory 81:82 in very exciting match.

Coach Dejan Milojevic emphasizes large dose of caution ahead of the next match:

“Tamis is a good team that play well and they deserve to play in the Superleague. We need to approach this match with maximum caution and full concentration. Tamis is, like us, still without a win and sure looks for their chance to win this match. I hope that we will give our best and get the win, which would have meant a lot for us”.

Mega Leks will have a slightly easier schedule than at the start of competition but that does not mean that the first victories will come easily. Nemanja Krstic agrees on that:

“We didn’t play as planned at the start of Superleague, not in basketball or outcome order. However, there are still enough matches until the end of league and I think we can work it out. Tamis is a good team, playing at home and certainly not to be underestimated. If we enter into the match with great energy and aggressiveness, I believe we will get the victory”.

Referees for this match are Jovcic, Glisic and Jevtovic.

The match is scheduled for Saturday 9th of May from 9 PM in the Hall Streliste in Pancevo.
