NIKOLA KARALIĆ SIGNS MULTI-YEAR CONTRACT WITH MEGA SUPERBET

Serbian junior national team player Nikola Karalić has signed a multi-year contract with Mega Superbet.

Karalić was born on September 20, 2008, in Kruševac. He is 202 cm tall and plays the small forward position. In the 2026/27 season, he will play for OKK Beograd in the Serbian Basketball League on a dual registration, just as he did last season, when he averaged 9.5 points and 3.9 rebounds in his first senior season.

Karalić joined Mega in 2023 and won the Mini Cup in Niš that same year. He became a Serbian Cadet Champion in 2025, while with Mega’s junior team he won the Serbian Junior Championship in 2024 and 2026, as well as the U19 ABA League title in 2025 and 2026. He was also part of the team in Istanbul in 2024, when Mega’s junior team won the ANGT qualifying tournament.

At this year’s Serbian Junior League Final Tournament, Karalić was named the tournament MVP after scoring 18 points in the quarterfinal against Borac, recording 26 points and 10 rebounds in the semifinal against Partizan, and finishing the final against Dinamik with 15 points and 9 rebounds.

Karalić represented Serbia at the 2024 FIBA U16 European Championship in Crete, where Serbia won the bronze medal. He averaged 8.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per game, with his best performance coming in the quarterfinal against Israel, when he recorded 19 points and 5 rebounds. He was also part of the Serbian national team at this year’s FIBA U18 European Championship in Trentino, averaging 9.7 points and 5 rebounds per game. He particularly stood out against Denmark, recording 20 points and 11 rebounds.
