Biography
Petar Bjelica was born on February 14, 2009, in Piacenza, Italy, and has been a member of Mega since 2024. In 2025, he won the Serbian national championship with the club’s cadet team, while a year later he won the silver medal with the same generation. In his first junior season, he won the gold medal at the Serbian national championship, and at the final tournament in Novi Sad, he was also named MVP. With the junior team, he also won the U19 ABA League.
Representing Serbia, he was the best in Europe in 2025. The cadet national team won the gold medal, while Petar Bjelica was named to the All-Tournament Team. A year later, in 2026, he won the silver medal with Serbia at the FIBA U19 World Cup. Since the 2026/27 season, he has been a member of the senior team.
