PETAR BJELICA AND LUN JARC AT BASKETBALL WITHOUT BORDERS CAMP IN ISTANBUL

Mega Superbet youngsters Petar Bjelica and Lun Jarc will participate in the upcoming Basketball Without Borders camp, taking place August 26–29 in Istanbul.

The invitation represents significant recognition for the talented Mega players, who will attend the inaugural BWB Next Up camp, a new format designed for the world’s most promising young basketball prospects.

Petar and Lun are among 80 leading high-school-age players who will train and compete over four days at the Basketbol Gelişim Merkezi basketball development center. The final day will feature championship games and an awards ceremony recognizing the camp’s top performers.

Their participation continues Mega Superbet’s tradition of sending young talent to Basketball Without Borders camps, following Nikola Karalić, Bogoljub Marković, Urban Kroflič, Abdramane Sibi, Ognjen Srzentić, and Pavle Bačko.

Organized by the NBA, FIBA, and the Turkish Basketball Federation, the camp will feature athletic testing, movement efficiency assessments, individual skill development, three-on-three competitions, life-skills seminars, and five-on-five games.

Participants will work with current and former NBA and FIBA players and coaches, including Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson, Serbian basketball legend Vlade Divac, Danilo Gallinari, Brook Lopez, Khris Middleton, and Jalen Suggs.

The BWB Next Up format was launched to mark the 25th anniversary of Basketball Without Borders, with the top performers earning the opportunity to attend the next camp held during NBA All-Star Weekend.

Basketball Without Borders is the NBA and FIBA’s global basketball development and community outreach program. Since 2001, it has welcomed more than 4,900 participants from 149 countries and territories, with 155 former campers reaching the NBA or WNBA. The NBA and FIBA have organized 86 camps in 56 cities across 36 countries on six continents.
