Tarik Hrelja was born on May 9, 2006, in Sarajevo. He is 198 cm tall and plays at the small forward position. During his career, he has represented Igokea and Student. In the 2025/26 season, he played for Student in the ABA 2 League, averaging 11.5 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists per game. He made his ABA League debut in the 2024/25 season as an Igokea player.
Hrelja made his senior national team debut for Bosnia and Herzegovina at the 2025 EuroBasket. He played three minutes and scored four points against Cyprus, while he spent eight minutes on the court against Spain. He has also represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at youth level. In the summer of 2026, he played for the national team at the FIBA U20 European Championship Division B, averaging 15 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists per game. He also recorded a triple-double at the tournament, finishing the game against Armenia with 19 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists.
