AVDALOVIĆ: “LET’S KEEP THIS GOING UNTIL THE END OF THE SEASON”
Mega Superbet recorded a victory in the final round of the ABA League playout phase, defeating Borac on the road in Čačak 98–89 (26:17, 29:26, 16:23, 27:23). The team coached by Vule Avdalović played an excellent first half, while the hosts responded in the third quarter and brought uncertainty back into the game. However, in the decisive final 10 minutes, Mega regained control and secured their 12th win (12–14), while Borac suffered their 18th loss (8–18).
Mega Superbet head coach Vule Avdalović shared his impressions at the post-game press conference:
– I would like to congratulate Borac on their entire season-they got the maximum out of their squad and had a chance to qualify for a higher group after the first phase. Congratulations especially to coach Ocokoljić, who is doing a fantastic job with the team, and I wish them the best for the rest of the season. As for us, we played a pretty good game, which is reflected in the result. We led from start to finish, controlled most of the game, relaxed a bit in the third quarter, but overall I’m satisfied with the performance. I’d like to congratulate my players on their fighting spirit throughout all 40 minutes, and I hope we can continue like this until the end of the season,
said Avdalović.
With this win, Mega Superbet closed out the 2025/26 ABA League season, narrowly missing out on a place in the Play-In. Avdalović’s team now turns to the domestic championship, where they will face FMP in the quarterfinals with home-court advantage.
