MEGA SUPERBET HOST CSKA, AVDALOVIĆ: “PLAY BRAVELY, DEFEND AGGRESSIVELY AND PUSH THE PACE”
Mega Superbet will host Moscow’s CSKA in Round 4 of the Winline Basket Cup at the Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall. The game is scheduled for Friday, January 9, tip-off at 6:00 PM, with free admission. Complimentary tickets can be collected at the Sports Hall box office from 5:00 PM until tip-off.
Mega Superbet head coach Vule Avdalović shared his expectations ahead of the game:
“We are facing an extremely demanding game against one of the highest-quality teams in Europe. CSKA are a team with tremendous experience and a deep roster. We are a young team that is developing from game to game, and matches like this are an opportunity to show how much we can compete with the best. Our goal is to play bravely, defend aggressively, and play fast on offense—to impose our rhythm and take advantage of every opportunity that comes our way. Regardless of the result, we want to leave the court proud of what we showed and continue to grow. I invite all basketball fans to come and watch a game against a great opponent like CSKA,” Avdalović said.
Mega Superbet guard Savo Drezgić is well aware of the challenge awaiting his team:
“We are expecting a game against a great team like CSKA. This will be another major challenge for us against a former European champion. It’s up to us to give our maximum and play the best we can in order to achieve a positive result,” Drezgić added.
Mega Superbet and CSKA share first place in Group A with identical 2–1 records, and in their first meeting in Moscow, Mega claimed an 81–72 victory.
