MEGA SUPERBET JUNIORS END BARCELONA TOURNAMENT WITH LOSS TO ZALGIRIS

Mega Superbet juniors were defeated by Zalgiris in the game for fifth place at the tournament in Barcelona, losing 84–96 (16:20, 24:22, 24:27, 20:27). Dejan Pejić’s team stayed competitive for most of the contest, but the Lithuanian side pulled away in the final minutes to secure the win.

In Mega Superbet’s final game of the “Ciutat de L’Hospitalet” tournament, Aleksa Stiković led the way with 16 points and five rebounds, followed by Lun Jarc with 15 points and five boards. Nikola Karalić added 13 points, while Marko Savić also finished in double figures with 10.

Mega Superbet juniors ended the group stage in third place with a 1–2 record, but were unable to overcome Zalgiris in the fifth-place game. Still, they return home with valuable experience from Barcelona, having tested themselves against some of Europe’s top young talents.
