MEGA SUPERBET JUNIORS LOSE TO BASKONIA, FACE ZALGIRIS FOR FIFTH PLACE

Mega Superbet juniors suffered their second defeat at the “Ciutat de L’Hospitalet” tournament in Barcelona, losing to Baskonia 74-88 (12-24, 25-24, 19-13, 18-27). Dejan Pejić’s team fell behind by double digits after 10 minutes but managed to stay close until the final quarter. However, they struggled in the decisive period and finished the group stage with a 1-2 record.

Top scorers for Mega Superbet were Vuk Stepanović and Đorđe Lilić with 11 points each, while Nikola Karalić added 10 points.

Mega Superbet juniors finished third in their group and will play against their Zalgiris peers on Saturday for fifth place. The game is scheduled for 16:00.
