FIRST LOSS FOR MEGA SUPERBET IN THE WINLINE BASKET CUP
Mega Superbet suffered their first defeat in the Winline Basket Cup, organized under the umbrella of the VTB League, as they lost to Parma Perm 94–79 (24–21, 23–18, 23–26, 24–14) at the Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall. Vuleta Avdalović’s team stayed competitive until the final quarter, when the Russian side pulled away and built a decisive lead that Mega lacked the strength to erase. After three rounds, Mega Superbet now stand at 2–1, with Parma holding the same record.
Bogoljub Marković led Mega Superbet with 18 points and nine rebounds, Asim Đulović added 15 points and six rebounds, while Savo Drezgić scored 14 points. Luigi Suigo also finished in double figures with 11 points.
For Parma, Jaylen Adams scored 23 points, Terrell Carter added 17, Gleb Firsov had 11, and Brendan Adams finished with 10 points.

The game was tightly contested from the opening tip, with the teams exchanging the lead. Late in the first quarter, the visitors built a five-point advantage, but Gačić cut the deficit from the free-throw line to make it 24–21 after 10 minutes. Parma maintained control in the second period, pulling away to 38–29 midway through the quarter and reaching a double-digit lead in the final minute before Marković set the halftime score at 47–39 from the line.
Mega Superbet closed the gap early in the third quarter, trimming the deficit to 51–48, but Parma once again stretched the margin back to double digits. Still, Avdalović’s side finished the quarter strong, halving the deficit ahead of the decisive period (70–65). However, Parma opened the final quarter with another run to rebuild a double-digit cushion, and this time Mega were unable to mount a comeback, sealing the defeat.
