MEGA SUPERBET TO PLAY SECOND GAME AGAINST THE UNIVERSITY OF INDIANA IN PUERTO RICO, AVDALOVIĆ: “WE’LL NEED MORE ENERGY TO MATCH A BETTER-PREPARED OPPONENT”

Mega Superbet basketball players are in Puerto Rico, where they will face the University of Indiana today at 5:00 PM Central European Time in their second game of the Indiana Summer Tour.

Mega Superbet head coach Vule Avdalović shared his thoughts ahead of the rematch at the famous Roberto Clemente Coliseum in San Juan:

– After the first game, where we suffered a defeat, we’ll need to bring much more energy in order to match an opponent that is currently better prepared across all 40 minutes. We’ve analyzed the first game, and I believe we’ll correct the mistakes we made in the second half. We’ve only recently come together as a team, and these games will be extremely useful as we continue our preseason preparations—though of course, we aim to win every game,

said Avdalović.

In the first game, played overnight between Saturday and Sunday, Indiana came out on top with a 93–71 victory.

Mega continues its tradition of facing NCAA teams, having played against college programs such as Michigan, Virginia, and Kentucky in previous years. Notably, in 2021, Mega also faced Indiana in the Bahamas.
