NIKOLA ĐURIŠIĆ SIGNS WITH THE ATLANTA HAWKS

Another basketball player who came through the Mega Superbet system will continue his career in the NBA. After being selected as the 43rd pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, Nikola Đurišić spent the previous season in the G League, and has now officially become a member of the Atlanta Hawks.

Đurišić has signed a contract with Atlanta and will play for the Hawks in the upcoming NBA season.

Nikola is the 16th player from Mega Superbet to be drafted into the NBA, having been part of the Mega family since 2017. He progressed through all levels of the club, from youth to senior teams, establishing himself as one of the most talented players of his generation.

He achieved significant success in youth competitions, winning numerous titles—including two in the U19 ABA League—and most notably winning the 2022 Junior EuroLeague, where he was deservedly named MVP of the Final Four held in Belgrade.

His transition to the senior team was equally impressive. In 2023, he was named the ABA League’s Best Young Player, further confirming his potential. He also played for Serbia’s U16 and U19 national teams, and just two days after turning 18, he made his debut for the senior national team.
