ILIJA MILIJAŠEVIĆ CONTINUES HIS CAREER AT DEPAUL COLLEGE

Following in the footsteps of Andrija Jelavić, Filip Jović, Mihailo Petrović, Timotej Malovec, and Sergej Macura, Ilija Milijašević will also continue his career in the NCAA college league. After a strong season with Mega Superbet, Milijašević is set to join DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.

DePaul competes in the Big East Conference and last appeared in the NCAA Tournament in 2004.

Milijašević joined Mega in February of last year and was part of the team that finished fourth in the ABA League regular season and reached the semifinals. One of the highlights of that season was an incredible nine-game winning streak to close out the campaign. He remained with the club in the 2024/25 season, once again reaching the ABA League playoffs. Over the course of 32 games, he averaged 5 points per game, with his best performance coming in the playoffs against Budućnost, where he scored 17 points and hit 5 of 9 from beyond the arc. He finished the past ABA League season with an impressive 44.9% success rate from three-point range.

Milijašević has also been a regular member of Serbia’s youth national teams, winning a bronze medal at the U18 European Championship in 2022.
