MEGA SUPERBET HOSTS FMP IN THE OPENING GAME OF THE SERBIAN SUPERLIGA QUARTERFINALS, BARAĆ: “TOUGH GAME AFTER A CHALLENGING SERIES, BUT I BELIEVE THE PLAYERS WILL BE MOTIVATED”

Mega Superbet basketball team faces FMP in the Serbian Superliga quarterfinals. The first game of the best-of-three series is scheduled for Sunday, May 18, at 7:00 PM, with Mega hosting at TC Dejan Milojević. Admission is free.

Mega Superbet head coach Marko Barać shared his expectations ahead of the quarterfinals:

– Just 48 hours after the game against Budućnost, we face FMP in the Superliga. We didn’t have much time to recover after a tough series. On the other hand, FMP has already played one stage in the Superliga, so we expect a difficult game. This will definitely be an opportunity for some of our new players and those who played less during the season. I believe they will be motivated to give their all so we can win together,

said Barać.

Mega Superbet starter Filip Jović pointed out that the upcoming match against FMP will be different from previous ABA league encounters:

– We expect a challenging game against FMP. After the loss to Budućnost, we haven’t had much time to rest or prepare, so it won’t be easy. We already played them this season in the ABA league, but this situation will be different because we will be in a significantly changed lineup,

added Jović.

The second game of the quarterfinal series between Mega Superbet and FMP is scheduled for Wednesday, May 21, at 6:00 PM in Železnik.
