TALENTED GERMAN POINT GUARD JACK KAYIL IS THE NEW PLAYER FOR MEGA MIS!
The talented point guard of the German junior national team is the new player for Mega!
Basketball club Mega MIS continues to build its team for the future as they have signed a contract with the talented German point guard Jack Kayil (2006, 191 cm), who joins Mega from the ranks of the German club Rasta Vechta. Kayil represented the German junior national team last month, winning a bronze medal at the “Albert Schweitzer” tournament held in Mannheim, where he was also selected to the tournament’s All-Star Five, averaging 13.3 points, 4.5 assists and 1.8 steals per game.
Kayil was born on January 27, 2006, in Berlin, standing at 191 centimeters tall, and plays as a point guard. Last season, while playing for the junior team of Alba, he was selected to the All-Tournament Team of the ANGT qualifying tournament in Munich, where he averaged 18.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 3.8 steals per game. He joined Rasta Fehta’s ranks last summer, and this season, while playing for the B team in the second German league, he averaged 10.5 points and 2.8 assists.
Jack Kayil also represented the Next Generation selection at the ANGT qualifying tournament in Podgorica this season, where he was also outstanding with an average of 15 points, 7 assists, and 2 steals per game.
Kayil is a regular member of the German youth national teams. In addition to his notable performance at the aforementioned “Albert Schweitzer” tournament, Kayil was a member of the cadet national team at the European Championship Division B in 2022. Serbian audiences also had the opportunity to meet him at the U18 European Championship held in Niš last year, where he won a bronze medal with the German juniors.
