Basketball players of Mega Bemax will continue their season ABA league on Friday, November 9th, when they will be visiting Zadar with the 7th round of the competition. Players of coach Dejan Milojevic will have the opportunity on Friday from 20:00 in the Kresimir Cosic Hall to fight for the 6th win in the season and thus defend their place at the very top of the table where they are currently in 2nd place. The coach of Mega Bemax on the match against will not be able to count on injured Branislav Ratkovicc.
Before the match with Zadar, Milojevic said that victory would mean a lot for the confidence of his young team:
– We do not have time to look into the match with Partizan, because on Friday we are expecting a difficult away game against Zadar, which after four losses at the start, linked two victories at the side, against Partizan and Krka. It is very important that we enter the match with Zadar with the right energy and aggressive defense. If we impose our rhythm, I believe that we can achieve win a lot that would mean a lot for the confidence of my young team.
After 6 rounds of the ABA league, Mega Bemax has 5 wins and 1 loss while Zadar has a score of 2-4. Mega and Zadar have so far met 10 times in the ABA League with score 6-4 for Mega. In the last match of the two teams played within the 21st round of ABA league last season, Zadar won 95:91 at home.
Mega Bemax player Andrija Marjanovic stressed that the match against Zadar should be a real test for the young Mega’s team:
– We need to get into this match the strongest so far, to determine and draw the lessons from the first defeat in the league and return to the winning track. From the start, we will try to impose our rhythm and energy. Zadar is a great team and I think it will be a real test for our young team, but with our fast play and aggressive defense, I believe that we can come to a new triumph,
